In-cabin entertainment includes a six-speaker sound system (with DAB digital radio, AM/FM tuner and MP3-compatible CD player). Bluetooth and USB connectivity is featured too.

The vehicle comes with a maximum five-star crash-test rating, as awarded by Euro NCAP. Driver aids include Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Traction Control, Brake Assist System and Hill-hold Assist. Among the Sportage’s passive safety features are height-adjustable front-row seatbelts (with pre-tensioners), three-point seatbelts for rear-row passengers, ISOFIX child-seat fixtures and multiple airbags.
