The Citroen New Berlingo: What’s Changed?

The new Citroen Berlingo is spacious comfortable and more customisable than ever. It combines all the components from the older Berlingo that customers loved with new and improved luxury, technology and safety features to create a vehicle that everyone can enjoy.


So what has changed?


A new look

The new Berlingo has adopted a noticeably different look. Now the car has a bolder image that helps it stand out from the crowd, with more graphic details. There are now a wide range of exterior colour options and an option of white details around the fog lights and side protection strips that can help you customise your vehicle exactly how you would like it. The Berlingo now looks more stylish and luxurious, and the inside of the vehicle doesn't differ. The dashboard has adopted a more modern look with new features that will make the journey in the Berlingo a lot more comfortable, including an 8 Inch touchscreen where the driver can view all of the relevant and important information they will need including a Sat Nav. Inside the Berlingo there is a multitude of space, now managing to hold a load volume of up to 4,000 litres and a load length of over 3 metres for the XL version. This is due to the rear seats easily folding down into the floor. There are more storage areas than ever in the new Berlingo, with hidden away holders and a luggage shelf, which can hold loads up to 25kg, which can be configured into two positions, the regular high position or the intermediate position for dividing the boot into compartments.

New Engine Specifications

The new Berlingo comes with two petrol option in their PureTech Range, the 1.2 L PureTech S&S 110hp and the 130 hp EAT8 (Auto). There are also three diesel engines available in their 1.5 L BlueHDi S&S range with either 75hp, 100hp or 130hp BVM6 (6-speed manual) or EAT8 (Auto).
