Rear skid plate
The lower part of the rear bumper is shielded by the ruggedly styled rear skid plate.

Twin styled tailpipes

Smart tailgate system

Hands-free tailgate operation is enabled by sensors that detect the approach and presence of the key-carrying driver and automatically open the tailgate to provide effortless access to the generous load space.

Smart Parking

Front and rear parking sensors feature on all Santa Fe models, as well as a rearview camera feeding to the touchscreen display. Premium SE and Team Wiggins Edition models also offer Smart Park Assist, which is ultra-sonic sensors that can identify a viable parallel parking space. It then steers the Santa Fe in and out of the space perfectly. It works by allowing you to control the accelerator and brake, and the system does the rest.

Part of the optional convenience pack, available on Premium SE automatic models - manoeuvring in confined spaces is made easier by a series of strategically located cameras which provide a 360° view of the immediate surroundings of the vehicle.

Static Bending Lights
When making a turn at night, the Static Bending Lights projects a beam of light in the direction you are turning, which makes nighttime cornering much safer.​​​

Wiper de-icer
The heating elements within the base of the windscreen quickly defrost frozen wiper blades perfect for frosty mornings in the winter.​​

Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC)

In “stop and go” traffic, a pre-determined safe distance to the preceding vehicle is
maintained by the ASCC. After coming to a standstill, the engine is automatically
restarted when forward movement ahead is detected.
