With its stylish cascading grille and LEDs in the head and rear lights, the new i30 presents a modern, dynamic exterior. The muscular bumpers and slightly raised edges on the bonnet create a smooth and aerodynamic shape that follows back to a compact rear.​​​

Technology and comfort

Enjoy modern features like air conditioning and a smart infotainment screen as standard. SE trims and above include Bluetooth connectivity, a DAB digital radio, rear-parking sensors and chrome detailing. You’ll also enjoy the 8" smart screen and convenient features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Performance, engines, economy and efficiency

A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard in the Hyundai i30. With the entry-level 1.0-litre engine, drivers can benefit from a three-cylinder turbo engine and 118bhp. A 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engine are also available for SE trims and above. The 1.4-litre T-GDi can reach 60mph in under nine seconds, while the 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine comes with a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission for an added boost. The latter also has low emissions of 99g/km of CO2 and is the most efficient car in the i30 range. 

Safety and security

Every i30 comes with a complete range of modern safety features as standard. Benefit from Autonomous Emergency Braking, Front Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Alert. You could also add Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Detection on the Premium trims as an extra.

Trim levels

Choose from the entry level S trim and other specifications of SE, Premium and Premium SE.

Alloy wheels come as standard on all new i30 models, increasing from 15" on the S to 17" on the Premium trims. These higher-end trims also include chrome detailing on the door handles, beltline moulding, and inserts on the radiator grille. The SE trim and above has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and if you want leather seats to complete the look, opt for the Premium SE.​
