New C5 X Plug-in Hybrid​ uniquely combines the elegance of a saloon and the versatility of an estate car with the commanding road presence of an SUV. ​

Its plug-in hybrid technology offers up to 31 miles of full electric range (WLTP) for local zero emission use, while the smooth petrol engine gives the performance needed for longer journeys.

New Citroë​n C5 X Plug-in Hybrid is suitable for most daily journey. In electric mode it offers:

• A range of up to 31 miles in full electric mode (depending on the options fitted to the car and the actual conditions of use);
• Quiet driving at speeds up tp 83 mph (where legally permitted) in full electric mode;
• Zero emissions at tailpipe when driven in full-electric mode;

Quick and practical daily charging

• Wall box: With the standard Mode 3 (Type 2) cable, it recharges from 0% to 100% in less than 2 hours thanks to the standard 7.4kW on-board charger.
• An (optional) domestic charging cable for use with a standard domestic 3-pin socket (for occasional domestic charging): charges the battery from 0% to 100% in less than 8 hours, or overnight.
• 100 kW terminals are not compatible with New Citroën C5 X Plug-in Hybrid.
