Petrol | Hybrid
Put simply, it is a petrol car with an automatic gearbox, that is assisted by an on-board electric motor, which recharges continuously as you slow down or brake. Meaning? You don’t need any cables to experience fully electric driving for a portion of your journey. You just let the technology do the work. Plus, the bonus of having no gears to manually shift. Overall, a Hybrid delivers lower fuel bills, less local pollution, quieter starts and the cool feel of driving electric.

The wallbox is a much faster solution, cutting charge times down by several hours. And with manufacturer deals or government incentives often available on wallboxes, it’s a cost-effective option too.
Many workplaces are starting to provide rapid-charging facilities for employees’ vehicles. Indeed, government help is available for businesses, such as the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS), which is provided by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEZ). If your workplace doesn’t yet have rapid charging, you can plug into a three-pin socket.
