Intelli-Seats for recharging comfort
Inspired by bicycle seat technology, the driver and front passenger seats are designed for outstanding comfort — evenly distributing and supporting body weight. This helps reduce fatigue during long periods of driving. Alongside their ergonomic benefits, the seats feature a premium design and are upholstered in sustainable materials, helping to minimize environmental impact. Intelli-Seats come as standard on the GS model.
There’s plenty of space in the Frontera for life—kids, dogs, shopping, luggage—sometimes all at once. The spacious boot features a flat load floor with a handy concealed compartment underneath. Need even more space to transport something really big? Just fold down the rear seats to extend the load area to a class-leading 1,600 litres and up to 1.95 metres in length.
The Frontera features a stunning 10” colour touchscreen integrated into the Pure Panel. It wirelessly mirrors your phone content via Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, while charging at the same time. And yes, that’s wireless too—thanks to the built-in induction charge pad
Let’s start with the GS. Alongside the wireless charging pad, there are two USB-C ports in the front, two in the rear, and—if you opt for the 7-Seat Pack—one more in the very back. The GS also includes a useful centre console that doubles as an armrest and features phone pockets for rear seat passengers. The Design trim has one USB-C port in the front. Both models come with a handy Flex Strap to keep phones and cups secure, plus generous door pocket storage for drinks bottles and more.
More and more motorists are choosing to drive electric and hybrid vehicles. As such, you’ll find plenty of charging points available across the UK, whether you’re in town, at work, or on the motorway.
Charging your electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) at home is simple. You can either use a standard three-pin socket, or invest in a wallbox. The wallbox is a much faster solution, cutting charge times down by several hours. And with manufacturer deals or government incentives often available on wallboxes, it’s a cost-effective option too.
Many workplaces are starting to provide rapid-charging facilities for employees’ vehicles. Indeed, government help is available for businesses, such as the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS), which is provided by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEZ). If your workplace doesn’t yet have rapid charging, you can plug into a three-pin socket.
