How it feels to drive!
Enjoy effortless night-time driving thanks to these super-innovative headlights. Each headlamp consists of 84 pixel LED elements which activate either individually or in groups, creating zones within the light beam. What it means for you is fantastic night visibility without the need to dip your lights, all the while knowing your beam won’t dazzle other road users. Sounds good? Upgrade to the Ultimate or GSe.
Head Up Display projects information like your speed, nav directions, media and pop-up alerts, through the windscreen. In fact, the information appears to be on the road ahead of you meaning that you never have to take your eyes off it. This feature is part of the Tech Pack that’s available when select Astra Ultimate or GSe.
Combine a low centre of gravity, super-responsive handling with the option to switch into sports mode. It all adds up to dynamic, sporty handling. With Astra, there’s a full range of energy options. You can opt for a traditional combustion engine powered by petrol. Then, there’s a petrol hybrid with the feel of electric driving (no cables) and a plug-in hybrid with a battery range of 45 miles (WLTP). But to experience the thrill of instant acceleration, go for full electric with up to 257 miles of range (WLTP), a 54 kW battery and fast charging to 80% in just 26 minutes. The choice is yours.
More and more motorists are choosing to drive electric and hybrid vehicles. As such, you’ll find plenty of charging points available across the UK, whether you’re in town, at work, or on the motorway.
Charging your electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) at home is simple. You can either use a standard three-pin socket, or invest in a wallbox. The wallbox is a much faster solution, cutting charge times down by several hours. And with manufacturer deals or government incentives often available on wallboxes, it’s a cost-effective option too.
Many workplaces are starting to provide rapid-charging facilities for employees’ vehicles. Indeed, government help is available for businesses, such as the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS), which is provided by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEZ). If your workplace doesn’t yet have rapid charging, you can plug into a three-pin socket.
