The Hyundai i30 Tourer

The newest incarnation of the i30 Tourer is now available from Hyundai Portslade in East Sussex, a member of Tates Motor Group. This compact estate car is bigger than before, more extensively equipped and has benefitted from many stylish updates too. The New Generation i30 Tourer comes in S, SE, SE Nav, Premium and Premium SE trim levels.

The third-generation i30 Tourer sports a redesigned front fascia, featuring an all-new, eye-catching radiator grille. A rising window line and tapering roofline help to provide the vehicle with an appealingly aggressive stance. The car drives on 15" alloy wheels as standard. Other stand-out features include a smart radio signal-boosting shark-fin antenna and sun glare minimising tinted glass.

The vehicle can be selected in one of a range of exciting solid, pearl and metallic colours, including Polar White, Phantom Black and Fiery Red. Whichever paint finish you choose, it will be perfectly complemented by a number of colour-coded fixtures, such as bumpers, door handles and door mirrors. The latter is electrically adjustable and heated too, and feature integrated indicators. Further standard illumination includes automatic, dusk-sensing headlights – with courtesy delay functionality – LED daytime running lights and a rear spoiler-integrated LED brake light.

This roomy five-seater provides front-row travellers with adjustable positions, as well as horizontally adjustable head restraints, to ensure optimal comfort. Other standard features include power-operated front and rear windows and air conditioning, each helping to deliver an agreeable interior temperature. The New Generation i30 Tourer possesses an increased capacity 602-litre boot space, complete with a variable-height floor for greater stowage flexibility. Thanks to 60/40 split-folding rear seats, total cargo capacity of 1,650 litres is always available when you need it.

The i30 Tourer features a range of efficient Euro 6-rated diesel engine options, including a standard-issue 1.4-litre 118bhp unit, which delivers up to 56.5mpg and a 115g/km CO2 emission figure. The greenest choice is a 1.6-litre 108bhp engine, which returns as much as 74.3mpg and produces emissions as low as 99g/km. A 1.4-litre 138bhp unit, meanwhile, generates a peak torque of 242Nm and 0-60mph in a little over nine seconds, while still managing up to 52.3mpg and 124g/km of CO2.
