The Sorento is adorned with 17-inch alloy wheels and a smart rear spoiler, both available as standard. Entry-level KX-1 grades are fitted with a 2.2-litre engine, which returns as much as 50mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 149g/km. The vehicle features four-wheel drive, providing extra grip, and is capable of towing between 2,000kg and 2,500kg.

A six-speaker sound system (with MP3-compatible CD player, DAB tuner and FM/AM radio), a touchscreen display and Bluetooth and USB connectivity are all included as standard.

The Sorento comes with Euro NCAP’s five-star crash-test rating. A range of safety features includes rear parking sensors, cruise control, Electronic Stability Control, Trailer Stability Assist, Active Bonnet System, six airbags and ISOFIX preparation.
